Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2 in 3D Written Review

So, it's the 7th and final movie of the long running franchise of Harry Potter. First off, let me first start and say that I'm sorry I couldn't post a video review of this. I've been having some issues with my microphone and I think it's time for me to get a better one that doesn't distort when I speak into it. But anyway, about HP7. Now, let me gi...ve you my thoughts on how I really feel about the Harry Potter movies. To be honest, I wasn't really that much into Harry Potter when it first came out back in 2001 with Sorcerer's Stone (it's also called Philospher's Stone in the UK). I have only read the first 2 Harry Potter books and I only read them after I watched the first 2 movies and I never read the rest, but, I could still think that the films are really close to the books as they can be. I was only 9 years old when I saw Sorcerer's stone, but, I actually really got into the film even while looking back on it. It drew me in with it's excellent tale of witchcraft, magic, and a dark backstory for the main character. I also really enjoyed the casting of Harry, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley. As each film went on, the actors had gotten better and better with their characters and I love how we got introduced to more likeable characters as well like Professor Lupin in Prisoner Of Azkabin and Sirius Black with the later films. The movies always got better and better with each film, (well except for Goblet of Fire cause I didnt like how they added so many pointless situations and characters happening) although it is really unique how the story became darker and darker with all this build-up for the return of Lord Valdormort. To be honest though, I had to re-watch all of the movies because I had not seen Order Of The Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince, or Part 1 until recently so that I could understand what was happening. Now back to Part 2. As far as final films in a franchise go, this one I really enjoyed and I think that this movie will go down as an instant classic in my opinion. There a lot of charm, emotion, very dark twists, and great atmosphere surrounding the film as I watched it. I went and seen it in 3D, which I was very skeptic about seeing as how the last time I went and seen a film in 3D (Transformers 3) really pissed me off and gave me a very bad headache. But, much to my surprise, this film actually didn't have bad 3D. I mean, sure it looked like at times it was like post-3D but, I think it was okay. It's nothing really special, but, I kind of liked it better than some of the other 3D films I've seen this year. It did have some great atmosphere when I was watching it throughout. Anyway, yeah, there were a lot of great things I loved so much about this film. The epic battle with Voldemort's army and the Hogwarts staff and students, that was really awesome. I also liked in this one, it's very fast-paced and there's hardly any scenes where you're like, "Come on. Let's get to the action". Believe me, it goes by really quick. And that's saying a whole lot since the movie is about 2 hours and 10 minutes, but, it works. Also, this one had a very emotional impact on me when it gets toward the end. I wont spoil what happens, but, let me just say that it leaves a really big smile on my face on how long this series has gone on. It is sad that this is the last one seeing how Deathly Hallows is the final book of the series, but, hey, this one still really satisfied me all the way to the end. Overall, I'd say, if you're a really big fan of the previous movies and the books, you will definitely enjoy this all the way. I can almost say that this film had no flaws whatsoever. Sure, the ending might seem a bit lukewarm, but, that didn't stop me from liking it though. My final verdict is that this Harry Potter film really deserves a 10/10. It's one of the best movies I've seen all summer (next to Super 8). Harry Potter, I salute you.
