So I finally saw The Angry Birds Movie. Although I never played the game app, I am somewhat familiar with the basic premise of it. I liked the cast and I did laugh at some of the dirty humor it had. I liked how it had scenes from movies like The Shining and X Men: Days Of Future Past, (Quick Silver scene), and imitated them. I liked the last 30 minutes where it's actually referencing the actual game to defeat the enemy. That being said, this movie fell flat in the first hour. That first hour plot was absolutely boring and it had very subpar writing until the last 30 minutes. This was a forgettable film. It's good for the kids but it was meh for me. I give it 5.5/10.
